![]() Ingredients List is where you create your ingredients for your recipes. The Recipe Ingredients is where you tie each Recipe item to its list of ingredients. The Recipe List is where you create your unique Id and enter the name, website, and add a picture (for the Recipe Card!). Recipe List and Recipe Ingredients sheets were setup to store the two parts to your recipes. Use this to print out for your friends or your recipe box. You select the recipe from the list and everything populates for you. Recipe Card sheet was added to be the “pretty” version for showcasing your recipes. I also added a field so that you simply select the day of the week you want to start with and the headers update automatically. I took out extra rows and columns that were blank and only done to be decorative. Meal Plan sheet was redesigned to be easily customized by inserting new rows or columns with minimal degree of effort. If you’d be willing to leave this with me for at least a few days, I would love to help with a redesign. ![]() ![]() I also noticed the pantry list is loading from the raw shopping list, in reality the pantry should be a fixed list where you define what’s in your inventory based on the ingredients sheet I’m not sure why it’s setup that way, but that needs to be fixed too. I don’t see any problem with the formulas on the meal plan, but as I mentioned in #2, I think it needs an overhaul. I have an idea for how to fix that, but it would require some reengineering of the sheet and formulas.Īlso the raw shopping list should probably be some kind of array formula (probably FILTER) to pull the data from the pantry list based on those checkboxes. I noticed that all data validation (that I looked at) on the meal plan sheet was pulling the items from breakfast and not any other sheets (lunch, dinner, etc. ![]() The Pantry checklist ingredients (column B) should use the same data validation range as the ingredients in the meal type sheets (column B in breakfast, lunch, etc.). I can see that it seems like the raw page grabs the ingredients and checks to see if there are duplicates and if there are, then it adds the amount together to transfer to the grocery list so I know how much to buy of the ingredient. The first image shows the meal planner page where I select the meals, but if I add more rows (because I'm making a juicing plan that requires about 8 selections per day instead of just breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack), then it doesn't add the ingredients to this raw shopping list page. I purchased this sheet and I can't figure out how to be able to add more rows and still have it add the ingredients from those selections to the grocery list. I have a google sheets meal planner, that I'm trying to convert to add more columns or rows on the main page where you plan the meals, but whenever I add them, it doesn't add the ingredients from the new rows into the grocery list. ![]() Points Leaderboard #Ĭlick Here to see the full list.
